What is 80DELTA?

80DELTA is an investment system that enhances ETF investing through an Options Overlay. Importatnly it “insures” your largest investment outide your home. It gives you exposure to the U.S. stock market — specifically, the S&P 500 ETF (SPY), which tracks 500 of the world’s largest companies (think Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, and so on). If you already invest in ETFs, you’ll be familiar with the concept — 80DELTA takes that foundation and makes it work harder for you.

The S&P 500 ETF is already a solid long-term investment. What 80DELTA does is add a disciplined layer on top — using Call and Put LEAPS and SPY Covered Calls to earn extra income, provide some cushioning in downturns, and capture more of the upside when markets are rising strongly. Rather than replacing your ETF approach, 80DELTA enhances it.

The strategy follows a clear, repeatable set of rules. It’s not based on guesswork or market predictions — it’s designed to work across different market conditions over time.
